Hello everyone!

It is such a joy to see everyone after the summer holidays and to experience your children's enthusiasm for a new term of violin lessons.😊

Now that we are all settled into our private lesson schedule, it is time to think about group lessons, which I think will be wonderful this year! As always, I HIGHLY recommend group playing to all of your students. Group lessons are such an integral part of a musical education that many Suzuki programs make them a mandatory part of their program. If you have been reluctant to enroll your child in group lessons in the past, due to a busy family schedule, please note that groups will only be held once a month this year, a change which will make the idea more palatable to some families.

For the fall term, I am hoping to form two group classes, as follows:

A Beginner/ Junior Group - Suzuki Book 1, Fiddle: marches, polkas and hornpipes

(9:30 to 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 30th, October 28th, November 25th, December 16th)

I highly recommend this group for the following students:

Yaeeun, Daniel, Coral, Dain, Jia, Jun, Astrid, Enid, Dayne, Mylee, Jayden, Danica, Helena, Sable

An Intermediate/Senior Group-Suzuki Book 2 and up, Fiddle: Strathspeys, reels, jigs, slip jigs

(10:30 to 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 30th, October 28th, November 25th, December 16th)

I highly recommend this group for the following students:

Emery, Sophia, Sachi, Lorelai, Jude, Luc

Group lessons will be held at _____________ and the fee for the fall term (four lessons) is $60.

I am so glad that some of you have already expressed your intention of enrolling. I look forward to hearing from as many of you as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about group lessons.

All the best,

Bev
